Well said Ret. I couldn't agree more about the live shows. There's always a air of nostalgia from the ex-pirates especially with jingles and theme tunes, (Man of Action - RNI, Caroline - Caroline). The monthly Caroline broadcasts from the Ross Revenge are particularly good. So, come on MiAmigo, how about some more weekly live programmes like Paul's and let's show these mainstream stations exactly how it should be done :-)

thanks for a great show Paul !
It's really fun to hear you guys enjoying making genuine radio.
And with all those live stints popping up, the station is getting better each day.
It really has this free radio thrill, with high standard moderation nowadays ;-) , and the international aspect makes it have a great and special appeal too. Funny to hear English presenters using Flemish jingles, normally it's the other way round.
Hope it can go on for a long time as it's so much different from all those uninspired commercial and public broadcast(er)s and so much more vibrant than those 50k+ online streams pretending to be radio.
All the best to you guys !
kind regards, Rett Clemens

Dear friends of Radio Mi Amigo
I am an Italian shortwave listener, operating since 1970; I am 64 years old and I live in Torino, where I work as a logistic engineer for an aerospace company.
I've had the great pleasure of tuning in your station for the first time and it's been a great emotion to hear the name of a piece of history of offshore radio stations! I send you my reception report, which I hope you will be so kind as to verify with your QSL-card.
A short mp3 recording is attached, so that you can hear how your very good signal was actually arriving in Italy!
Best regards Roberto Taberna

Very very sad news about the passing of Ronan. The man who started the whole thing over here. Listening to Caroline atml, (sorry), with a live show from Roger "Twiggy" Day to comemrorate Ronan and playing music and jingles of the time + other stuff thrown in. Will Mi- Amigo be doing some special programmes? Ling live free radio.
